St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Police arrested the driver of a car that allegedly ran a red light in north St. Louis overnight and crashed into a tow truck.
Authorities responded to the crash at Union and Natural Bridge around 12:30 a.m. Monday and found at least one passenger in the car injured and that person was transported.
the driver of the car was placed in handcuffs by officers while they investigate the crash. The driver of the wrecker truck involved was not hurt.
The intersection was shut down for a time during the investigation. The driver of the car was later taken to jail. No names have been released at this time.
