Tenacious D on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' (NBC)
St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The self-proclaimed "Greatest Band in the World" Tenacious D visited St. Louis Monday to promote the release of their anticipated new album, Rize of the Fenix.

The guitar rock duo of Jack Black and Kyle Glass performed at Vintage Vinyl in The Loop and signed copies of their third album, Rize of the Fenix. The band's self-titled first album debuted in fall 2001 following a short-lived series on HBO.
The pair's second album, Pick of Destiny, was released in conjunction with the feature film of the same name, starring both Black and Glass.
Jack Black has achieved success as a lead actor in such films as School of Rock and the Kung Fu Panda series.
Tenacious D is performing an all-ages show at The Pageant Monday night at 8 p.m. General admission tickets at $39.50. Balcony tickets, reserver for people ages 21 and up, are $44.50.
