Kime, MO (KSDK) -    A Jefferson County man was killed early Wednesday after losing control of his Mack tractor unit on a rural highway in the Missouri boot heel.

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers say Dennis Hadley; 59 of Imperial, was northbound on Wayne County Route D north of Lake Wappapello when the truck tractor left the right side of the road, crossed the highway and crashed into a tree.

Troopers say Hadley was pronounced dead a short time after the accident which occurred around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday south of Kime, Missouri.
