Maryland Heights, MO (KSDK) - A husband and wife were accidentally shot Friday in Maryland Heights.
Sgt. Joe Eagan with the Maryland Heights Police Department says they received a call just after 1:30 p.m. for an accidental shooting at a home in the 100 block of Edgeworth.
When officers arrived they determined the husband was preparing to dismantle a handgun when it accidentally discharged, striking him and his wife.
Only one round came out, but both people were hit. One received a hand wound, and the other was hit in the leg.
