St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A water main break flooded the intersection of Chippewa and McCausland overnight, but had little impact on traffic.
City of St. Louis water crews were assessing the damage to the twelve inch main that burst and send thousands of gallons of water over the pavement in south St. Louis.
No loss of water service was reported, however some customers may notice a lack of water pressure during the course of finishing the repairs.
No immediate explanation for how the main ruptured.
