PERRYVILLE, Mo. (AP) - An investigation continues after a bicyclist was struck and killed in southeast Missouri.
The victim from the Friday accident has been identified as 71-year-old Robert Pinar of Perryville. Police say he was riding the bike around a stalled vehicle on the shoulder of a highway when he was struck by another vehicle.
Perry County Coroner Herb Miller says the driver who struck Pinar said the sun was in her eyes and she didn't see him.
Miller says Pinar was riding the bike for exercise with his wife.
