East St. Louis, IL (KSDK) - A pregnant woman is recovering from a gunshot wound after police say she got caught in the crossfire.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Natalie in East St. Louis.
The woman is nine months pregnant and investigators say she was riding in a car with her boyfriend when someone started shooting.
Police say the woman's boyfriend may have been the target, but she was shot in the buttocks.
NewsChannel 5 is still working to learn her condition.
Police have not made any arrests.
