Pinckney, MI (WDIV/CNN) - An elderly Michigan couple got an overnight surprise Sunday.
An uninvited guest broke into their cottage and got into bed with them.
Jason House lives in a yellow home on Patterson Lake Drive, but after a night of drinking, he ended up two houses away, and according to police, decided to make himself at home.
According to the report, House climbed into bed around 3 a.m. with a Sterling Heights couple who was fast asleep.
They quickly jumped out of bed and ran outside, but House was still comfy cozy inside.
Police eventually got the 27-year-old in cuffs.
He blew a blood alcohol content of .174, and that's when he told police he had unsupervised children at home.
House was charged with burglary, entering a home without permission, disorderly conduct, and child neglect.
WDIV-TV went to visit the Sterling Heights couple at their cottage, and while they wanted to remain off camera, they did say their doors will stay locked from now on.
