Bismarck, MO (KSDK) - Wet pavement is partially to blame for a head-on crash over the weekend that claimed the life of a Bismarck woman.
Missouri Highway Patrol investigators say 58 year old Wanda Wilson was westbound on Route NN east of Indian Creek Road in St. Francois County just after midnight Sunday morning when an oncoming eastbound car slid on the wet road into the path of Wilson's car.
The two vehicles met head on. Wilson was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The other driver; Rose Harrington-Wahlers, 42 of Bismarck was also injured and taken to an area hospital.
