Brentwood, MO (KSDK) - South Hanley Road was closed for several hours in both directions after an accident knocked down power lines.
The road was closed between Elinor and Bruno, just south of Interstate 64.
A vehicle hit a power pole which snapped, and live wires were down blocking the street in both directions.
Brentwood and Richmond Heights police were on the scene working to make repairs.
