(NBC) -- A naked man tread water for 20 hours while at least one hammerhead shark circled him.

A news helicopter captured the video of the fisherman 30 miles off the coast of Australia after his boat sank.

The 49-year-old man was clearly relieved when he realized someone had spotted him.

A boat rescued the man and he was treated for exposure.
