Eureka, MO (KSDK) - A 19-year-old clerk at Six Flags St. Louis was arrested for peeping, the Eureka Police Chief Michael Wiegand confirms.

The male clerk was caught spying on two 13-year-old girls as they were changing for a ride at Hurricane Harbor on Wednesday afternoon.

Wiegand says the suspect admitted to watching the girls after police got a call from the mother of one of the girls who witnessed him doing this.

There is also surveillance video that shows the clerk peeking through a gap in the wall to see the girls.

The suspect was questioned and released pending notification warrants. He faces charges of invasion of privacy.

Six Flags St. Louis has released the following comment to NewsChannel 5:

The safety and well-being of our guests is our top priority and we have zero tolerance for any inappropriate behavior. Local authorities are now handling the situation and the employee has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. We have no additional information to share at this time."

Police say they have no further comment until charges are filed.
