St. Charles, MO (KSDK) - A 31-year-old St. Charles man was arrested Thursday amid accusations of peering into a neighbor's window, his third arrest on similar charges.
According to Lt. Dave Senter, a spokesman for the St. Charles Police Department, Timothy Sutton was charged with two counts of invasion of privacy and one count of stalking.
A witness contacted police and said Sutton was looking in neighbor's window on several occasions, between July 27 and August 8, at the Time Centre Apartments.
Senter said Sutton admitted to masturbating outside the woman's window once because she was naked in the apartment.
Timothy Sutton has a lengthy rap sheet, Senter said. In 2002 and 2005, Sutton pleaded guilty to stalking. Prior to his arrest, Sutton had been out on bond on an invasion of privacy case.
Sutton remains in custody on $75,000 cash-only bond at St. Charles County Jail.
