Downtown St. Louis (KSDK) - An unidentified robbery victim is hospitalized this morning with a gunshot wound to his foot.
The injury was the result of an incident early Tuesday while the man was walking near Leonore K. Sullivan and Chouteau, along the riverfront.
Police say the victim told investigators an unknown suspect approached to rob him, and then fired a shot that struck the victim in the foot.
The injured victim was last reported to be in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
