Glendale, MO (KSDK) - Dozens of Glendale residents were the victims of car break-ins in the span of one evening, the Glendale Police Department said Monday.
According to Glendale Police Chief Jeffrey Beaton, officers were contacted about 31 instances of break-ins on the morning of Thursday, August 16.
Investigators believe more than one thief was responsible.
Beaton said the thieves stole credit cards, wallets, electronics, loose change and a musical instrument in one case. The cars were parked in front of residents' homes or in their driveways. Most of the cars were unlocked.
Some of the stolen items were found in neighbors' yards and vehicles, Beaton said.
