St. Louis (KSDK) - The Central West End Neighborhood Security Initiative has released information on two more crimes involving guns that occurred in the area in the last 12 days.
At 8:30 p.m. August 10 a woman was robbed at gunpoint in the 200 block of N. Boyle.
The woman was not hurt.
On Wednesday, August 22 Cornell McKay was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action for the incident.
The NSI says around 12:40 a.m. August 19 four people walking near Euclid and West Pine were robbed at gunpoint. The suspect then tried to rob two more people seconds later, but they ran away.
The suspect fired two shots at the victims and fled in a newer model maroon Mercury Mountaineer which was occupied by a second person.
The vehicle was last seen going east in the alley between West Pine and Laclede from Euclid.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his 20s standing 5'10" and weighs between 200 and 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt, blue jean shorts, and armed with a pistol.
On August 18 a former Saint Louis University volleyball player Megan Boken was shot in the neck and killed near the intersection of N. Taylor and Maryland.
Boken, 23, was in town for an alumni volleyball game.
Police believe Boken did not know her attacker.
A $31,000 reward has been offered for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
