Clayton, MO (KSDK) - Details have been released on the sentencing hearing against a former video game store operator who was convicted of multiple sexual abuse and assault crimes involving his juvenile clients.
Leland Beasley, 44 of St. Louis, was issued 5 consecutive life prison terms, plus 75 years to behind bars following his July conviction in St. Louis County court.
The charges against Beasley were the result of an investigation revolving around his conduct at the Gamestation Sector 19 store he operated and various other locations.
Among the crimes Beasley was found guilty, multiple counts of child molestation, statutory sodomy, attempted sodomy, and possession of child pornography.
Beasley was also sentenced to a sixth life term that will be served concurrently, or at the same time, as the other terms.
All of this comes a year after Beasley was ordered to serve 290 years in Federal prison following his 2011 conviction on federal charges of production and possession of child pornography.
St. Louis Circuit Court takes aim against Beasley this December when he returns to court for trial on similar charges connected to crimes in the city.
