Chesterfield, MO (KSDK) - All lanes of Clayton Road at Claymoor closed Wednesday morning due to a serious car accident.

The Chesterfield Police Department said the accident occurred in the 14700 block of Clayton Road.

Four people were injured the accident and had to be taken to a hospital, according to Captain Steve Lewis, a Chesterfield police spokesman.

Motorists should avoid the area until the scene is cleared.
