St. Louis (KSDK) - A former Six Flags Amusement Park employee has been charged with second-degree invasion of privacy, a felony.

Lt. David Wilson with the Eureka Police Department says Jeremy M. Bates of Pacific, Missouri was accused of trying to look at two partially nude 13-year-old girls on August 8 through a small gap around a door frame in a public dressing room at the water park.

The mother of the two girls saw 19-year-old Bates watching them and reported the incident to security, which contacted the Eureka Police Department.

Surveillance video also shows Bates peeking through the gap in the wall.

Six Flags released the following statement to NewsChannel 5 Thursday:

"The safety and well-being of our guests is our top priority and we have zero tolerance for any inappropriate behavior. As soon as Six Flags became aware of the situation, which happened in a retail dressing room - not the park's main changing area, local authorities were contacted, the individual was suspended and subsequently terminated."
