Collinsville, IL (KSDK) - Police are searching for a man accused of robbing two Illinois banks Thursday.
Collinsville police say a man walked into the US Bank in the 500 block of Beltline Road around 1:15 p.m. and robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a heavyset white male. He stands about 6' and weighs around 210-220 pounds. He is in his mid to late 20s, and was last seen wearing a maroon Saluki baseball hat, dark framed glasses, a long-sleeve button-down denim shirt, and blue jeans.
Nobody was injured.
The man is also suspected of robbing the US Bank in Edwardsville shortly after the Collinsville robbery.
