Jason Leavy accused of violating Missouri's home repair laws

Jefferson City, MO (KSDK) - A St. Louis man is accused of violating Missouri's laws as related to his home repair business.

Jason Leavy, who also goes by the names Jason Aragon and Michael Aragon, is charged as a prior and persistent offender. He recently operated TriStar Roofing, Accurate Construction, and Quality Roofing.

The indictment states Leavy took money for home repair work he did not perform, and refused to refund money to homeowners.

He is charged with four counts of unlawful merchandising practices in St. Louis County, and charged with three more counts in St. Charles County.

Leavy is held in the St. Louis County jail on $25,000 bail.

St. Charles County has set his bail at $50,000.

Leavy is also ordered to not have contact with any of the victims.

If convicted, Leavy faces between two and seven years in prison, and/or a fine double the amount of gain not exceeding $20,000 for each count.

He has served 18 months in prison for prior convictions.
