St. Louis County, Mo (KSDK) - A man who ran in front of an Abbott ambulance Friday morning on Interstate 44 has been identified as a person-of-interest in a Fenton bank robbery.
Sgt. Al Nothum with the Missouri State Highway patrol confirms the man that was hit on I-44 at I-270 is the person they were looking to question for the robbery of a Reliance Bank Wednesday.
Authorities had said Joseph L. Haring was wanted for questioning. Police did not call him a suspect, and he was not charged with a crime in this incident.
Authorities were also looking for the silver Honda Ridgeline the suspect drove from the scene in, and it was recovered Wednesday near the intersection of Hampton and Chippewa.
NewsChannel 5 typically does not disclose identities of suspects unless they are charged with a crime, but we made an exception in this instance due to Haring's criminal history.
