Vehicle fire closes SB I-55/70 in Collinsville

Collinsville, IL (KSDK) - A vehicle fire has closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 55/70 between Illinois 159 and 157.

A truck carrying propane caught fire and burned.

One lane northbound is also closed.

The driver got out of the truck safely.

There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
