St. Louis, MO (KSDK) -- This week marks the beginning of National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
In honor of the month, St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness (SLOCA) members and supporters gathered on Wednesday morning at the Kiener Plaza fountain as workers turned the water their signature color teal.
During the coming week, volunteers will be present at the fountain during lunch hours to pass out bookmarks and speak to people about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer in order to raise awareness.
For more information on ovarian cancer awareness, go to SLOCA.org.
