St. Louis County, MO (KSDK) - A man who pleaded guilty this summer to multiple felony charges including the rape of a neighbor was sentenced Thursday.
Kirkwood resident 20-year-old Sean Adams was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Adams admitted in July to charges of forcible rape, burglary, assault, multiple counts of sodomy, and armed criminal action for crimes that happened in October 2010 at the victim's home on North Harrison Avenue.
Police arrested Adams a short time later after finding evidence leading to him.
Adamas graduated from Kirkwood High School where he competed on the wrestling team.
He is also the son of John Adams, who has served the City of Kirkwood as Finance Director.
