St. Louis (KSDK) -- Artists spent Saturday morning preparing for the second day of the St. Louis Art Fair by cleaning up from the night before.

Severe weather forced organizers to cancel the event Friday night. About ten booths blew over in the wind and rain.

Organizers say it was the first time they have ever had to cancel the fair, but they did it to make sure everyone was safe.

Art Fair Board Member Emeritus stopped by Today In St. Louis Saturday to talk about the weekend event.

We also heard from Amy Gillespie. She's one of the nearly 200 artists featured this weekend and she brought some of her work to Today In St. Louis.

The fair will be held in the Central Business District in Clayton.
