St. Louis (KSDK) -- A Southeast Missouri State University student is hospitalized in critical condition at Barnes-Jewish Hospital after a weekend accident, according to a spokesperson for the hospital.
Meghan Herndon was driving a scooter to work when her vehicle and a pick-up truck collided around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. She was taken to a Cape Girardeau hospital and then flown to Barnes.
Herndon is a plays soccer for the Redhawks.
She is a 2008 graduate of Rockwood Summit and a Fenton native.
