Mississippi River body discovered

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A tug boat crew discovered a body floating in the Mississippi River Tuesday afternoon.

The body was discovered shortly after 2 p.m. in the river near Arsenal.

A pair of St. Louis Fire Department boats was launched to recover the body.

The body has been described only as an adult African-American male.
