St. Louis (KSDK) - A 58-year-old man has been charged with murder after a shooting in downtown St. Louis Wednesday night.
Willie Robinson has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action after a man was shot to death near the intersection of Hadley and Convention Plaza.
Robinson told police a homeless man was threatening him before the shooting, and he left to get a gun.
He told police when he returned the victim continued to threaten him so he shot him.
Robinson was taken into custody at the scene.
The name of the victim has not been released because next of kin has not yet been notified.
Robinson's bond information has not been released.
