(NBC) -- Microsoft wants Windows users to install a security tool after the company discovered a bug in the Internet Explorer browser.

The security flaw could allow hackers to take remote into your infected computer.

A free security tool to help protect your computer is available at Microsoft.com.

It's an interim fix until Microsoft can correct the bug and release a more secure version of Internet Explorer.
