Mukilteo, WA (KING/CNN) - Police outside Seattle, Washington are trying to track down a man who attacked a car in an apparent fit of road rage.

Even more bizarre, the victims say they have no idea what set the man off.

Still shocked at their own story of road rage, Lawson and Morley Gordon say Sunday started off great.

"I had just left my sister's barbecue," said Emily.

With Morley in tow, Emily headed down the Mukilteo speedway when they noticed a man driving erratically. He then cut in front of them and slowed down.

"When we passed him we were kinda chuckling. He was screaming at us, freaking out, the finger, so I gave him one back and just kept going I thought we were done," said Emily.

Far from it. When he pulled on the shoulder, driving parallel to them, they kept driving until they reached an intersection. The man then got out of his car and charged toward Emily's.

"He grabbed my spoiler, ripped it off, smashed it through the back window," said Emily.

Stuck at the red light and frozen in disbelief.

"He came over to Morley's side of the door and swing it but I saw him coming over, I put it in first," said Emily.

As she took off, one final act.

"He took the spoiler, back threw it through the back window and it hit Morley in the back of the head," said Emily.

"I didn't see him at my window, thankfully, I think I would be a lot less of a mess right now," said Morley.

They both believe if the muscular man they call the hulk had a weapon, they might not be alive.

"He was a big scary guy that was very angry. I thought he was going to kill us," Emily.

But for Emily, the most disappointing thing?

"Two women in a car being attacked by hulk guy, that's freaking out and there's a whole bunch of other people there nobody came to help us," said Emily.

The victims say the man raced away from the scene shortly after making a big mess of their car.
