(KSDK) Jon Jay's double drove inthe winning run in the tenth inning as the St. Louis Cardinals rallied from behind to beat the Chicago Cubs, 5-4.
The win gives the Cardinals a two-and-a-half game lead in the wild card race ove the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers lost to Washington, 10-4.
Carlos Beltran's homer in the ninth tied the game after the Cubs had rallied with three runs in the sixth to take a 4-3 lead.
The Cardinals lost catcher Yadier Molina in the ninth inning, after he contorted to get out of the way of a Carlos Marmol pitch. He pointed to his side, and left the game with what was called lower back spasms.
