(Bloomberg News) -- A problem could lead to a diaper shortage.

Bloomberg News reports there was an explosion and fatal fire at a Japanese factory that supplies a third of the global market for a chemical used in diapers.

The plant makes acrylic acid used to make super-absorbent polymers in diapers.

Analysts predict it could be months before things get back to normal again.
