Aaron Reid sentenced for concealing information in Clayton garage bombing

St. Louis (KSDK) - A 26-year-old man has been sentenced for concealing information related to the 2008 Clayton parking garage bombing.

Aaron Reid was sentenced to three years of probation for misprision of a felony for concealing and misrepresenting knowledge of Milton Ohlsen's presence near the Plaza at Clayton parking garage on October 15, 2008.

Court documents state Reid did not disclose he had been with Ohlsen when they parked in the area of the parking garage and split apart to run personal errands.

Surveillance cameras captured a person wearing a red poncho carrying a gift basket into the garage.

Ohlsen was wearing a red poncho October 15, 2008, the day the basket was delivered. It exploded the next day and injured attorney John Gillis.

Reid pleaded previously pleaded guilty to the crime.

Ohlsen pleaded guilty in September to one felony count each of transportation of explosive with intent to injure; malicious use of an explosive device; use of destructive device to commit a crime of violence, felon in possession of an explosive; and possession of an unregistered destructive device.

He will be sentenced December 13, 2012.
