Des Moines, IA (KCCI/CNN) - A couple in Iowa picked up a really big check Thursday.

Mary and Brian Lohse won last month's Powerball jackpot and claimed their prize at lottery headquarters in Des Moines.

The jackpot is worth $202.1 million before taxes. The Lohses took the cash option, which means they're about $91 million richer.

They say they did their homework before coming forward and have big plans for their new wealth.

"We've been meeting, well really since the day after, with our attorneys and financial advisors about our plans for the money and we wanted to certainly benefit our community and our church, and the members of the community so we're going to be putting together some plans and some structures to that to make sure that money lasts for a while, for us and our kids, as well as being able to take care and meet those plans and goals for quite a while," said Brian Lohse.

Mary works at a medical center and Brian works at an insurance company.

The Lohses say they plan to buy new cars and possibly build or buy a new home.
