Thurlester Johnson charged with robbing seven women outside Busch Stadium

St. Louis (KSDK) - A man has been charged for robbing seven women at gunpoint outside Busch Stadium.

The incident happened August 22 in the 500 block of S. Broadway. Four purses, two cell phones, three wallets, cash, and various credit cards and identification were stolen.

Thurlester Johnson, 44, was charged with four counts of first-degree robbery, three counts of first-degree attempted robbery, and seven counts of armed criminal action.

One other suspect in that incident has not been captured.

Johnson has also been charged with robbing four elderly people in the 4500 block of Olive on August 10. For that incident he faces three counts of first-degree robbery, one count of first-degree attempted robbery, four counts of first-degree assault, and four counts of armed criminal action.

Bond information is not available.

On Friday, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney filed 20 additional robbery charges against Thurlester Johnson.  These latest charges include robbing graduate students leaving an orientation event.
