Police ask for help identifying armed robber

Jefferson County, MO (KSDK) - Police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed Festus gas station early Tuesday morning.

Sheriff Oliver "Glenn" Boyer says shortly before 3:30 a.m. a man walked into the Phillips 66 gas station in the 2800 block of Highway 67 with a silver handgun and demanded money from an employee at the cash register.

After the suspect received cash from the employee, he left the area in a maroon Dodge Caravan. He was last seen traveling southbound on Highway 67.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5'9" and 5'10" tall. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, tan boots, a blue Adidas shirt with yellow letters and brown stripes, a camouflage sock hate, silver framed sunglasses, and black gloves.
