Pontoon Beach grocery store crash

Pontoon Beach, IL (KSDK) - A car slammed into a Madison County grocery store Thursday morning, scattering building material throughout.

The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of Pontoon Road.

The driver appeared to only be shaken up, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
