St. Louis County (KSDK) - A joint investigation is underway this morning after the discovery of at least 11 vehicles, stolen off the lot of two popular St. Louis County dealerships.

The thefts were first reported Friday morning by officials with the Lou Fusz auto network.

Police said the bandits broke in through a glass door of the Fusz Credit Solutions building, located in the 10900 block of Page at Lindbergh, found keys to several vehicles, then drove off with 11 cars.

St. Louis police were alerted to the theft and advised of the possibility some of the vehicles might be abandoned in the downtown area.

As of 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, three of the vehicles believed to have been stolen from the dealership were found near downtown St. Louis.

NewsChannel 5 later learned that one of the vehicles stolen off the Lou Fusz lot was used in a theft on the Johnny Londoff Chevrolet dealership in Florissant.

The Johnny Londoff theft occurred shortly before 5 a.m.  Thieves rammed the gates with a stolen vehicle and stole six additional vehicles.

Londoff said police located all six of those stolen vehicles using On-Star.  The car dealer said a theft like this hasn't happened to him since the 1970s.
