Ricky Weeden charged with second-degree murder, assault

St. Louis County (KSDK) - Additional charges have been filed against a man accused of a fatal hit-and-run accident last week.

Ricky Weeden is held on a $50,000 bond for leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a revoked license.

On Friday, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office called a press conference to announce charges of second-degree murder and assault have been added.

Authorities say Weeden hit and killed 4-year-old Traye-shon Williams October 5, 2012.

Williams and his 10-year-old brother were crossing St. Charles Rock Road when they were hit by a car. Williams died at the scene, and his his brother was seriously injured.
