North St. Louis (KSDK) - Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left two injured in north St. Louis.
Authorities responded to the shooting at 9:00 p.m. Monday after a woman called police when she was shot through the front window of her home.
Police said the woman was sitting inside her home and heard the shots and stood up to investigate. It was then that a bullet broke through the window and struck the 57-year-old victim in the shoulder.
An 18-year-old who was riding his bike in the 4300 block of College was also struck by a stray bullet. He was hit in the thigh. The teen told police he saw the shooter in a white Chevrolet with several people inside and a person in the backseat shooting a gun.
Both of the victims were taken to the hospital where the woman is listed in stable condition.
The teenager left the emergency room while awaiting treatment of his bullet wound, according to police.
