CNN - Thousands of pounds of ground beef are being recalled over fears of a possible E. coli contamination.
The U-S Food Safety and Inspection Service says more than 2,300 pounds of ground beef products from Utah and 4,100 pounds from Hawaii are being recalled.
The beef from Hawaii was manufactured at the Higa Meat & Pork Market on October 17.
The Utah recall includes 10-pound cases labeled "Ground Beef Bulk" and 12-pound cases labeled "Ground Beef Patties."
They were made at Main Street Quality Meats on October 18 and October 19.
The Food Safety and Inspection Service says the recall comes after products from both facilities tested positive for E. coli.
So far, no one has reported getting sick from the meat.
