Florissant ( KSDK ) -- A brisk afternoon became a bit chillier for dozens of Florissant residents, after they lost electricity about 2:30.
Florissant police say a car slammed into a utility pole at Graybrooke Lane and Graham Road. While the driver was uninjured, the power lines were snapped and crews from Ameren were summoned.
Power is expected to be restored by mid evening.
