Belleville, IL (KSDK) - A Belleville man has been sentenced for a series of arsons and burglaries.

Bryan L. Boide, 24, has been sentenced to ten years in prison on three counts of arson and six years in prison for three other counts of arson and three counts of burglary. The sentences are to run concurrently.

Boide and his friend, 19-year-old Nicholas Haegele, were charged earlier this year for six arsons in St. Clair County, Illinois.

In May, a spokesperson for the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department referred to the pair as "idiots" and "Beavis and Butthead," because the pair "kept dropping stuff" at the scenes.

Damage was estimated to be around $1 million.
