St. Louis (KSDK) -- The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all eastbound lanes of I-64 from Jefferson to the Poplar Street Bridge this weekend.
The closures begins at 8 p.m. Friday.
One lane and most ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, November 5.
All lanes will reopen by 2 p.m. Monday for evening rush hour.
To get around the closure, drivers need to take Jefferson to eastbound I-44 and follow the interstate back to the Poplar Street Bridge.
This is the first of three weekend closures on eastbound I-64 in November.
The Pine Street and Forest Park Avenue ramps to eastbound I-64 remain closed for at least a week, until crews are able to complete joint work at the top of the ramps.
The closure is part of an ongoing project to reinforce the double deck structure of I-64 next to Busch Stadium.
