(KGO) - Google co-founder Sergey Brin says he's been " dreading" election day.
Brin took to Google Plus to write about his disappointment with the elections and the partisanship in Congress.
He says his vote won't count because the Electoral College disproportionately weights votes from less populous states.
Brin's biggest concern however, is that no matter the outcome of the election, Congress will remain paralyzed by partisanship.
At the conclusion of his opinion piece, he makes an unusual request of Tuesday's winners. Brin is asking them to withdraw from their respective parties and govern as independents.
