JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon will have a new state health director for his second term, while the state's public safety director will stay on.
Margaret Donnelly will step down as director of the Department of Health and Senior Services next month to teach at Saint Louis University School of Law. Donnelly is a former state lawmaker who been the health director for all of Nixon's first term.
Public Safety Director Jerry Lee will remain in Nixon's Cabinet. Lee was appointed to the post last year.
Nixon announced the Cabinet moves Thursday, two days after winning re-election. Nixon says he plans to review other positions within his administration during the next several weeks and would have additional announcements.
