St. Louis (KSDK) - The Salvation Army is offering local veterans a new place to call home. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday morning at the new 48 unit development in Midtown.

The Salvation Army says the $9 million residence will help veterans make the transition from military to civilian life.

Each unit is fully furnished. Residents will also have access to laundry facilities and a computer lab.
