St. Louis (KSDK) -- Some MetroLink passengers should expect delays this week as the St. Louis MetroLink System continues work at several locations between November 12 and November 18.
The affected areas include College MetroLink Station, Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Station, Grand MetroLink Station and Jackie Joyner-Kersee MetroLink Station.
College and Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Stations:
Trains will not operate between these two stations beginning at 8 p.m. on November 12. However, shuttle buses provided by the St. Clair County Transit District will be transport passengers between the two stations where they can board a train and continue their trip.
Westbound Red Line passengers should allow an extra 20 to 25 minutes and eastbound Red Line passengers should allow an extra five to 10 minutes for their commutes. Blue Line services will not be impacted.
Grand and Jackie Joyner-Kersee MetroLink Stations:
Trains will operate on a single track beginning at 8 p.m. on November 12 while crews conduct track maintenance. Red Line passengers may experience five to 10 minute delays and Blue Line passengers can expect 10 minute delays.
Blue Line trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury MetroLink Station and the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station. Both eastbound and westbound passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Stations will have to board a Red Line train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station to either continue the commute or transfer back to the Blue Line.
Updates on MetroLink operations can be found at www.metrostlouis.org in the Rider Alert section.
