St. Louis (KSDK) - Thursday afternoon St. Louis Police apprehended two suspects wanted in connection to two shootings Wednesday night, as well as recent car burglaries.

The suspects were taken into custody after one of them crashed the BMW they were traveling in into two police cars on Page, east of Skinker.

Police say it started when officers spotted the gray sedan at Union and Minerva. When police tried to stop the car the driver reportedly took off, speeding along the Delmar Loop.

Then, traveling in the wrong lanes on Page at Hodiamont police say the suspect crashed into two police cars, a cruiser and an unmarked car. A police lieutenant says officers in those vehicles were in the vicinity in response to the chase.

Two suspects were arrested, one with a likely broken leg sustained in the crash.

One officer was also treated for minor injuries.
